Blackator Barley Sold

Blacktor Barley is one of our Heritage Approved Dartmoor Ponies born last year.

We work with the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust to help preserve the true Dartmoor Pony which is a Native Breed at Risk.

We handled Barley, like our others, from the age of six months old and castrated him ready to go onto our sales list, and yesterday we travelled him to his new home (a service which we can now provide if you buy one of our ponies), with a young girl keen on having a companion for her other horses and something that she can bring on in the future!!

It was lovely to see him in his new stable – once he decided it was safe enough to enter.
We wish them all the luck in the world and hope that Barley provides the great companion that we know he’s capable of (and we’re secretly hoping to recieve the occasional update).

Blackator Ashley – part-bred Dartmoor gelding by Shilstone Rocks Starfighter. Frequently handled and wormed. First pony to come up to you in the field, especially if you have a bucket! A real sweety that would excel in driving/riding/pony club. Has done showcase days and horse agilty, doesn’t get too phased by anything. Never kicked or bitten, perfect for family home. Blackator Belle- Heritage approved to make 11.2hh, this filly is by Merribridge Groomsman out of a (very good-looking!) DPHT mare. She has had basic handling, and  been regularly wormed.  She will be a fantastic pony for anyone interested in showing due to her lovely straight paces. Never kicked or bitten, a great character suitable for experienced family home £350

Blackator Black Knight – Pedigree to make approx 11.3hh, stallion potential, we were going to keep him, however we will sell him to the right home. He’ll make a super pony for anyone wanting to show. Fantastic straight forward action, showy just like his sire. Can geld for sale if required. £450
